	The Webcard Package is a one page website that is ideal for those who have just got round to the idea of the internet and wish to join everyone else 'on-line'. It looks professional and it doesn't cost the earth, at only £160! The page itself acts like an electronic business card, containing your logo, business address, phone, fax & email, along with a few paragraphs and photos detailing what the business does and the products and services offered. The great thing is that you can upgrade your website to a better package in the future when your company starts to grow.
	This is our most popular package. The 5 Star website is a five paged site with a navigation bar to guide you through the different sections of your web. Each section has been 'mind mapped'* so that navigation will be simple, no matter how many pages you add to your site! Each website is custom designed with your logo and professional looking graphics. A 5 Star web package is great value and only costs £350! Join our other happy customers and save on your web!
	Sell on the web! It's easy! Our E-Commerce packages allow you to safely accept credit card transactions on your website, and you can take orders from all over the world! Browse through a catalogue placing items into your shopping basket, then order via credit or debit card. Simple! Every order is 'encrypted' into code on the customers computer, making it secure. Then the order is transferred to your own computer where it is de-coded for processing just like you would any other credit card payment. Your business must be able to take credit card payments already in order to have an e-commerce site. If not then you must see your bank about a merchant business account.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is your address on the internet. You see them everywhere these days. Our address is www.giftedgraphics.co.uk
When you buy a website the name of your domain must be registered with Nominet. This must be renewed every 2 years (for a .co.uk) otherwise the name is lost. Gifted Graphics takes care with the registration and re-registration of your domain name(s) for you, so you don't need to worry about anything except which domain name to choose! Domain Reg is £15 every 2 years, and is included in the price of your website package.

What is hosting?
Once you have your domain name and your site has been designed, it must be transferred from our computers onto a commercial server that is permanently connected to the internet. This allows anyone to see your website 24/7, regardless of whether or not Gifted Graphics' computers are on or off. The cost of hosting on the commercial servers is £50 per year, and is included in the price of your website package.

How does email forwarding work?
Email forwarding does exactly what it says on the tin - it will take any name you like, in this instance Derek, or office, @ whatever your domain is, and send it to your current email address that you already have. So derek@giftedgraphics.co.uk or office@giftedgraphics.co.uk, or even anything-you-like@giftedgraphics.co.uk  will be sent to my old email address, del1@thechainge.co.uk. Basically if you are using the likes of Microsoft Outlook on your computer, and already have an email address, you can continue to use it.

What is Search Engine Registration?
A search engine is a tool for finding information and websites on the internet. An example of a really good search engine is www.google.com.
